Self flashing aluminum skylights are the ideal natural lighting solution for homes in temperate climates, such as Los Angeles. These skylights are available in single, double or triple acrylic domes, or with either laminated single glaze or tempered/laminated insulated glass. The frames are available in mill finish, bronze, driftwood or white powder coated 6063-T5 extruded aluminum. These skylights are an economical and effective way to bring healthy natural sunlight into your indoor environments.
Aluminum Operable Self Flashing Skylights - Acrylic Dome or Flat Glass
Aluminum Self Flashing Operable skylights combine the benefits of natural lighting with the ability to ventilate. These skylights are available in single, double or triple acrylic domes, or with either laminated single glaze or tempered/laminated insulated glass. The frames are available in mill finish, bronze or white powder coated 6063-T5 extruded aluminum.
The operating leaf is attached to the curb with a nickel-plated piano hinge, and is lifted by a self-lubricating chain mechanism for durability and low maintenance. A 6-10 ft. operating pole is included. Options include; electric motor kit, remote controlled electric motor kit.

Tubular Skylights

Tubular skylights are a great solution to bring more natural light into your home for minimum costs. A tubular skylight is an energy efficient, easy to install alternative to standard skylights.
The heart of the system is a state of the art, super reflective Silver tube. The Silver is chemically etched to the aluminum, which transmits virtually no solar radiation.
This coating is not a film or a polish. The finish can never delaminate or tarnish which means that the light transmitting properties will be the same in the years to come.
The flashing system used is a standard galvanized roof jack. All the glazing is clear UV protected acrylic, which emits full spectrum light. This makes colors in the room look much brighter than under conventional skylighting.
The Skyview® Tubelight has a UV absorber incorporated into the reflective coating. It will only allow UVB to pass through. This means that your plants will thrive and fabrics will not fade under this light. It will also completely inhibit mildew growth, making it perfect for bathrooms, laundry rooms, or anywhere that mildew grows.
The Skyview® Tubelight comes in two sizes. The 8" model is designed to illuminate up to 150 square feet and the 12" model up to 300 square feet.
